Tongits is a three-player rummy-style card game played with a standard 52-card deck. The goal is to reduce the total point value of unmatched cards in your hand to as low as possible — or better yet, go out by forming complete melds.

Each player is dealt 12 cards (dealer gets 13). The remaining cards form the draw pile.
On your turn, draw a card from the deck or take the top discard. Then discard one card face-up.
Form sets (three or more cards of the same rank) or runs (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit).
Lay down melds from your hand when ready. You can also add cards to existing melds on the table.
Win by emptying your hand (Tongits!) or having the lowest unmelded card count when the draw pile runs out.
You can call a challenge (dump) at any time — the player with the lowest card count wins the round.
